"I didn’t want to use any of the traditional/commercialized services so I read the reviews for many of the smaller companies. I chose Simon’s Plumbing for that reason: his reviews! When I called him, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the owner answering customer calls, he quoted an arrival timeframe and arrived accordingly, he was personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about customer service and delivering results! He will continue to earn my business. I have a large community network and I’m happy to refer him to my family and friends! Thanks, Simon!!"

"We discovered a water leak in our front yard and called our regular plumber. After realizing that they were not open the week after Christmas, I went on Nextdoor to look for a recommendation and saw Simon Plumbing was highly regarded. Simon arrived within an hour after placing the call and had our issue diagnosed very quickly. He determined it was likely a city of Phoenix issue as the leak was in the meter area. Although the city would be coming out to repair the issue, Simon declined payment for the call and even offered to come back the same evening in the dark and rain to do a temporary repair at no cost just to hold us over until the city does the repair. A true professional, he went above and beyond to make sure that the issue was resolved. I can assure you, Simon IS now our plumber!"

"I had a burst water pipe from the meter to my house. Simon was there less than 30 minutes after calling in the service visit to inspect the situation and confirm the work and they had a team out early the next morning to perform the work. They were performing the repair while I was in the office and, despite having to trench through about 15 feet of caliche using a jackhammer, they were done by the time I was home for dinner. Pleasant crew and is very professional. Definitely would use them again."

"If you need an honest plumber who will give you a fair price for great quality work, call Simon’s Plumbing. Simon was great! He arrived when he said he would, and he was clean, courteous, and prepared to work. The repair he had to do for us was a tedious one, but Simon was extremely patient with the task at hand. He explained what he was doing and showed me his work as things progressed. He told me of a similar job he spent several hours on the previous week! Simon provided us with professional service that surpassed my expectations. I’ve had other plumbers out to my house before, but Simon’s Plumbing will be doing ALL of my plumbing work in the future. Many thanks, Simon!"

Some might consider a plumbing issue an emergency when water starts spilling onto the floor. For others, an emergency might be a clog that’s causing wastewater to back up into the sink or shower.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the definition of an “emergency” will vary depending on the person. However, in general, a plumbing issue can be considered an emergency if it poses a threat to your safety or the safety of others. For example, a burst pipe that is flooding your home would be considered an emergency.

That said, our approach is simple. Regardless of how minor your job may seem, we make ourselves available every time you need us for prompt service. Our goal is to resolve any plumbing issue as soon as possible in order to prevent further damage, costs, and inconvenience for you.

We understand that plumbing can be expensive, so we’re always happy to work with our customers to find a solution that fits their budget. Our work is also backed by a 2-year warranty so that you can be confident that you’re making the right investment in your home.

There are a few factors to consider when deciding whether or not to repair your water heater. One is the age of your water heater – most experts recommend replacing water heaters after around 10 years, as they tend to wear out by that point. Another consideration is the cost of repairs – if the repairs are more than half the cost of buying and installing a new water heater, then it may be more financially advantageous to go ahead and replace it. Give us a call today so that we can help you with your specific situation.

Water heaters typically last 8-12 years for gas models and 10-15 years for electric models. However, with good maintenance, many modern water heaters can last much longer. For example, a tankless water heater can last up to 20 years with proper care.

In Arizona, the most common types of water heaters are tankless (on demand), conventional (storage), and heat pump (hybrids).

Tankless water heaters are becoming more and more popular because they save energy and money. They only heat the water that is being used, which means you never run out of hot water. They also last longer than traditional tank water heaters.

Conventional water heaters use a gas or electric heating element to warm up the water inside the tank. This type of heater is less expensive to install, but may not be as energy-efficient as a tankless heater. It can also be difficult to find a conventional heater that meets the requirements of an Energy Star rating.

Heat pump (hybrid) water heaters are a combination of a traditional electric storage tank water heater and a heating pump. They use around half the energy of a regular storage tank heater. Solar water heaters are becoming more popular in Arizona because of our warm weather, but they are not as common as conventional and tankless water heaters.

The general consensus is that for most households, sewer lines should be cleaned every 18 to 22 months. However, there are a number of factors that can affect how often your particular lines will need to be cleaned, such as the age of your home, the type of soil it’s built on, and the amount of water and waste that goes down your drains.

If you’re unsure of whether or not it’s time for your sewer lines to be cleaned, it’s always best to consult with a professional. They’ll be able to take a look at your specific situation and give you an accurate estimate as to how often your lines will need to be cleaned in order to keep them running smoothly.

The most common cause of sewer line problems is a blockage of the main sewer line. This can be caused by a variety of things, including tree roots, grease, and debris. If the blockage is not cleared, it can eventually cause a sewage backup in your home.

If you are experiencing any of the following issues, you may have a sewer line problem.

  • Slow drainage from your sinks or tubs.
  • Gurgling noises in your drains.
  • Sewage backups in your home or yard.
  • Wet spots on your lawn or around your foundation.
  • Strange smells coming from your drains.

Have you observed any of the signs above? Contact us today to get taken care of right away.

Two popular types of sewer drain pipes PVC and ABS sewer drains can last for many years with proper maintenance. However, if tree roots or other debris block the drain, it can cause extensive damage that might require a complete replacement.
